XeroGear Tape lights:
This product is not just purchased by us and then resold to you. We spent months developing this product into what it is today. This product started out as exactly what our competitors sell - a copper colored low quality product. We were very unhappy with the copper products and were not willing to sell them to our customers. The copper tape is very stiff and inflexible, combined with low quality lead solder and raw materials you end up with a product that does not work well or last very long. If you can even get the product installed without cracking the tape, you will find with use the LEDs start to lose their connection with the tape and will stop lighting and even fall off completely.
The XeroGear difference:
We worked hard to improve the product. The first thing we needed was more flexiblility and that lead us to our new white colored tape lights. XeroGear tape lights are flexible enough to fold completely in half with no damage at all. That means no matter how tight the bend needs to be to install the tape you will never have an issue. The next issue we worked on was the low quality raw materials and improper calibration of the machines that make the tape lights. This was a lot of trial and error, but we found the right combination that creates a tape light durable enough to withstand the rigors of RC flight and keep on working with all the vibration and even crash after crash. We didn't stop there either, we are now on our second generation of tape lights that are even more flexible than before. We are committed to selling the best products there are, period.
XeroGear Bolt Lights
Another example of our dedication is our new bolt lights. There are other products out there - made of pot metal using small LEDs barely visable in a lit room. XeroGear bolt lights are made of CNC machined aluminum not only for an amazing appearance, but weight savings as well. We were also not happy with the low quality and low light output from these lights, so we only use the highest quality 1 Watt High Output LEDs. You can clearly see our lights on a bright sunny day - the other lights need to be in complete darkness to see them from any distance.
The products we sell are developed by XeroGear for the RC market, and perform hands down better than anything else out there. We are proud of our products and stand behind them 110%.
